Join us at 12:15pm for an art talk by Raymond Wholohan (gallery curator) that will provide insight into the current exhibition What a Machine by Tony Curran and giving you a chance to learn more about the art and the artist. Can't make the talk, that's okay you can still enjoy a delicious lunch in the gallery, where you can take in the artwork at your own pace.

About Tony Curran
Tony Curran is a Launceston-based artist working between painting, drawing and creative code. His works explore the impact of smart devices on engagement with contemporary art and visual culture, including audience reception, collaboration and authorship in a software dependent world. What a Machine combines art with technology whereby the artist has adopted the creative workflow of artificial intelligence algorithms to make a body of work that feels simultaneously machine-made as well as soulful.

This exhibition is a must-see for people interested in contemporary Australian art, abstract painting, digital creativity, artificial intelligence and computed aided design.

Supplied lunch will be an assortment of delicious wraps and sandwiches, alternate meals for those with dietary requirements can be accommodated for.
