The Peter Cullen Trust “Lunch with a Leader” is a small gathering of Fellows and Friends with interesting, friendly and lively discussion led by some of Australia’s most informed people in the water and natural resources sector.

The first Brisbane Lunch for 2023 features Julia Spicer, OAM, Queensland’s Chief Entrepreneur – the flag-bearer for innovation and entrepreneurship in Queensland. As the Chief Entrepreneur, Julia works with regional communities across Queensland on a range of projects focused on identifying needs in business and implementing creative solutions to address them.

Julia also continues to run her own consulting business, Engage and Create Consulting and a local co-working space, the Goondiwindi Business Hub. Julia sits on other not-for-profit boards including Motherland Australia and has been a part of the Innovation Advisory Council as the regional representative. Julia is also a skilled facilitator, passionate speaker and an experienced MC.

Julia’s care began in environmental science working in landcare, natural resource management and land management roles in the Queensland Murray-Darling Basin region.
