Event description

The Peter Cullen Trust “Lunch with a Leader” is a small gathering of Fellows and Friends with interesting, friendly and lively discussion led by some of Australia’s most informed people in the water and natural resources sector.

The first Perth Lunch for 2023 features Susan Worley, water advisor and Friend of the Peter Cullen Trust.

Since 1995, Susan Worley has been involved in water resources management with Western Australia’s Department of Water and Environmental Regulation and its predecessors, with leadership roles in planning, regional delivery and community education. In 2021, Susan retired from the public sector and her position as a director in the Department’s Science and Planning group.

Her most recent work included planning for water allocation, water source protection, urban water and non-potable supply. While that work was shaped by the contemporary context, it was also greatly informed by Susan's accumulated experiences as manager of water allocation planning and regional manager north west, and as an educator. Through all her roles Susan had the good fortune to work with and learn from many people –individual colleagues and community representatives as well as people in water corporations, irrigation cooperatives, advisory groups and state and national agencies.

Now she is contributing to the water sector through advisory, mentoring and support roles including; Water Sensitive Cities Australia advisory board, Watertrust Australia influence advisory group, WA’s Water Sensitive Transition Network and as a valued and active friend of the Peter Cullen Trust.

Places are limited so please register and pay to secure your spot.
