Join Peter Overton for an intimate and relaxed discussion with our 2019 Australian of the Year Richard “Harry” Harris SC OAM who played a crucial role in the amazing cave rescue of the young Thai football team.

Richard is an Australian anaesthetist and cave diver who didn't hesitate to jump on a plane when called upon to help try and rescue the 12 young members of the Wild Boars soccer club and their coach who had become trapped deep in a Thai cave. Peter will uncover Richard’s passion for cave diving and how all his skills as a cave diver and doctor were used to manage the spine tingling risks that were taken to rescue the boys and the coach. We all know the story had thankfully a happy ending but what you will hear first hand are how Richard helped plan and execute on what he saw as the remote possibility of saving all 13 young Thai men.
