It is that time again when .id (Informed Decisions) will be releasing their annual State of the Region’s economic dataset. This national dataset, released annually, provides economic and employment data for every Local Government Authority (LGA) in Australia, including Griffith City Council. With the economic disruption over the last few years this dataset will be one of .id’s most significant releases, as local economies work towards recovery.
Katrina Houghton, will be joining us from .id to provide an overview of the economic changes which have occurred in our area between 2021/2022 and 2022/2023. This will include changes to local jobs, gross regional product as well as a breakdown of industry changes and helps us answer the question: where are we now?
Local business and industry associates are invited to join Council and the Mayor for an economic update on the Griffith region.
