The Session

In this hands-on session with Cláudia, we’ll be making Caldo Verde, a simple and nourishing soup from the north of Portugal that sustained rural families, made with just potatoes, kale, olive oil and chouriço.
Next comes Bacalhau com grão e batata (salt cod with chickpeas and potatoes), a dish tied to the history of the great voyages of discovery and the preservation of food.
And to finish, bolo preto, a traditional Madeiran cake made with honey and dried fruit, from a family recipe Cláudia holds dear.
