The Luxury Driving Experience starts exclusively from Peppers Silo Launceston, situated on the bank of the Tamar River and a stone’s throw from the heart of Launceston. When:

Please meet us at 7:45am for coffee and event briefing, returning between 5:30-6pm (approximately).

What to Wear:

Dress is smart-casual. We kindly ask guests to NOT WEAR DENIM (including jeans), jewellery or anything that can scratch or damage leather upholstery. The weather is normally spectacular during late summer and early autumn in Tassie, however we recommend being prepared for temperature fluctuations and wind. Warm layers, including a light jacket and fully enclosed, flat-soled shoes are essential.

What to Bring:

Your Driver Licence (electronic is fine) and sense of adventure!

Please ensure that you have a BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration) of ZERO (0.00), so no big night the night beforehand! A compulsory breath-test will be conducted prior to departure, please be aware that any reading other than ZERO will result in cancellation and forfeiture of your event, without refund.

Dietary Requirements:

Please advise if you or your partner have any specific dietary requirements, preferences or allergies, if not already provided.

The Stable:

Please note that the confirmed stable of supercars will always remain a complete surprise on the day. This ensures we have the flexibility to purchase and introduce new models into the stable annually and rotate our supercar collection depending on maintenance and scheduling requirements.

Weather Dependency:

In the interests of safety and your driving pleasure, our luxury driving experiences are held ONLY when roads are dry.

We have carefully selected February/March to minimise the risk of wet weather affecting your experience. Late summer and early-Autumn is usually one of the most stable times of year and spectacularly sunny.

We will contact you if we are concerned about the weather forecast leading up to your event – we usually aim to provide at least 24-48 hours’ notice to minimise any potential inconvenience and will work with you to re-schedule to the next best day.
Please ensure to book airfares and accommodation with flexible fares or cancellation policies just in case!

Insurance:

Comprehensive vehicle insurance and cover for any third-party property damage is included on the provision that a maximum 'at-fault' insurance-excess of $20,000 applies to each driver. A security deposit or bond is not required. Guests may reduce their excess to $10,000 per driver which also covers any windscreen damage via an upgrade of $275 (covers both drivers). Please note the insurance excess cannot be reduced entirely. Eligible drivers must be at least 30 years old, and possess a complete and valid driver licence that has been held for a minimum of 3 years. Additional insurance requirements apply for drivers aged between 25-29 years - if this applies to you please contact our team for further details. Drivers aged between 25-29 years are required to submit a record of their driving history.

*Please advise our team if you would like to pre-purchase the Insurance Excess Reduction and we will send a separate invoice containing a secure payment link.

Payment Details:

Complete payment is required at least four (4) weeks before the scheduled event. Please note reservations may be released if outstanding balances have not been finalised by this time. Please ask us if you would like to arrange instalment payments too.

Professional Photography:

Erik Rosenberg is an international photographer who will be joining us for the entire day. You have the option to pre-purchase a comprehensive photo package for $440 which includes approximately 100 beautifully edited images captured from your experience. You can view Erik’s photography via Instagram (@prancinghorse) and our website – http://prancinghorse.com.au.

*Please advise if you would like to pre-purchase the photo package and we will send you a separate invoice with a secure payment link for the additional $440. You will also have the option to select the photo package after the event for $495.

Cancellation Policy:
Prancing Horse have and always will provide you with the greatest flexibility to re-schedule or transfer your reservation at any time, without need for a reason and without any cancellation fees/charges. This has been our policy for the past 19 years. Similarly, in the event of a postponement or cancellation due to adverse weather or otherwise, we will provide you with the complete freedom to transfer to any future event with us. This is the reason why we do not request full payments in advance; only a non-refundable deposit that is transferrable at any time.

Prancing Horse reserves the right to amend or revise any details, including featured models and route itineraries at any time without notice. Events are subject to conditions and limited availability.
