5TH ANNUAL LWA FISHING RODEO
SCHEDULE
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11
| 5:00PM | Registration at Delacroix Lodge (5413 Delacroix Hwy, St Bernard, LA 70085) to get lodge, dock and captain assignments. We will have a reception with food and games. **NOTE: You will NOT be able to access the cabins until 5:00PM. Registration will NOT be available until 5:00PM. Please do not arrive prior to 5:00PM** |
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12
| 6:30AM | Arrive at the dock to get loaded up and meet your captain |
| 7:00AM | Departure for Fishing |
| 1:30PM | Last boat in (as boats come in, volunteers will be doing weigh-in) |
| 3:00PM | Awards Social at Delacroix Lodge with food |
WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH A TEAM?
- Teams are FOUR people
- Chartered fishing
- Guide/Captain, bait, equipment, etc.
- Your catch (your captain will clean the fish for you)
- Lodging for Wednesday and Thursday nights for four people
- Socials
- Registration Reception Wednesday, October 11
- Awards Social Thursday, October 12
- Meals
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks and water/sports drink on the boat
- Dinner at Registration Reception and early dinner at Awards Social
- Once you turn on Delacroix Hwy, there aren't any stores, restaurants, etc. If you need ice, beer, cigarettes, hair gel, deodorant, gum, a fourth meal, ANYTHING... you will have to go back to the Last Stop Food Mart on HWY 46. IT IS LITERALLY THE LAST STOP.

HOW DO I OBTAIN MY RESIDENT / NON-RESIDENT 3 DAY CHARTER LICENSE?
If you are a non-resident, you will need a RS/NR CHARTER PASS 3 DAY - SALTWATER. There are two ways to obtain:
Online at Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries
At many LDWF offices (Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Lake Charles, Monroe, and Opelousas) and local retailers (Academy, Wal-Mart, etc).
