LYCHEE BAYBEE (2024)
Event description
LYCHEE BAYBEE – Pride 2024 just got a little juicier. Lychee is a fruit of the East with a fleshy texture and symbol of romance and happiness. What better way to celebrate Pride than to merge it with the incoming Lunar New Year, for a night exploding in flavour.
A fun, fresh, juicy party that's sure to leave a lasting impression! It's the year of the Dragon and we're going to turn up the heat. Cause baby, you're a Treasure and ain't nobody stopping you this year! We want to see your best fits inspired by LYCHEE, so go juicy, fruity and Sichuan HOT. And remember the #1 rule: Just do you, b*tch!
LYCHEE BAYBEE is the personification of everything we want to celebrate as queer people of colour in Tāmaki Makaurau. This event grants opportunities to a multitude of up-and-coming Queer, Asian & BIPOC talent to not only further develop their craft but to be recognized and celebrated by our community.
