    Event description

The Australian artist Lydia Urbina brings her sophomore headline show to Brisbane at It’s Still A Secret Bar with opening act Kat Flowers. Don’t miss this chance to hear Lydia Urbina’s full album setlist played live for the first time!

Lydia Urbina has been cultivating her talents and experience to form a prominent music career in her own right as a singer, songwriter and producer. The Australian artist’s debut EP, “Neon Burnout,” exhibits her distinct fusion style. With her fusion of R&B, pop and electro sounds Lydia is paying an ode to her inspirations Frank Ocean, Taylor Swift, Halsey and Jon Bellion while staying true to herself as an artist. Her unique musical style and warm personality allows her to fill a commercial gap in the current market.

Lydia’s background as a classically trained vocalist and her degree level knowledge of production and song writing allow her to stand out as an emerging artist. Despite her formal education it speaks to none of Lydia’s fiery passion and personal drive. Lydia aims to make an immense impact on the industry by establishing her voice and unique sound.

Lydia is now on a mission to share her sound and find her fans as she steps into the live music scene. She is currently working on releasing her debut album expected to arrive 2024.

Kat Flowers is a folk-pop artist from Brisbane, emerging onto her local scene in 2018. Her gentle vocal lines and melodic guitar work are interwoven with personal stories crafted into touching songs. With a background in blues and folk, and drawing inspiration from artists such as Missy Higgins, Hozier, and The Milk Carton Kids, there is a heavy emphasis on storytelling through thoughtful lyricism.

Kat Flowers is here to bring you the audio equivalent of touching grass. She's packaged up some sad little feelings inside some sweet little folk songs for you to enjoy.
