Who is Lyhra?
Lyhra is the captivating union of three celebrated singers, songwriters, and performers—Trish Delaney-Brown, Sam Walton, and Bri Cowlishaw—who blend their voices and talents to create something truly unique. Accompanied by renowned Sydney musicians Charlie Meadows (guitar), Nick Hoorweg (bass), and Nic Cecire (drums), Lyhra draws inspiration from a deep stylistic well. Think the soul of Aretha Franklin, the close harmonies of The Chordettes, the timeless charm of The Andrews Sisters, the swinging elegance of Mel Torme, and the poetic beauty of Joni Mitchell meeting in a glorious musical jam creating something altogether new and unique.
