Lyrebird with Jane Caro
Event description
Join feminist icon, social commentator and Walkley Award winning journalist Jane Caro in conversation with Sandie Docker to discuss her thrilling new novel, Lyrebird.
Lyrebirds are brilliant mimics, capable of imitating anything they hear, including a woman’s screams for help. But when a young PhD student and a rookie detective try to prove that a bird may have overheard a murder, they face an uphill battle. With no body, no missing person, and only the eerie echoes of the bush, will they uncover the truth before it’s too late?
Lyrebird is a thought-provoking thriller that explores the unseen, the overheard, and the way nature bears witness.
