Maaraka Dabakarn (Hands to Steady) Term 1

Is your koolanga under 6 years of age?

Do you have worries about their development? 

If so, Wanslea will be hosting a special event with the Child and Parent Centre Swan and Ngalang Moort Ngalang Kurlangah (NMNK) to help First Nations families who are worried about their child's development.

Come along to this relaxed event to: 

• Get an Ears2Learn ear screening.
• Learn about other activities and services in your community that can help you and your child.
  
• Get help from staff to refer your child to appropriate services.
  
• Get information from a Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Behaviour Support Worker on ways you can help your child learn and develop.
  

There will also be:

• Food provided. 
• Kids activities. 
  
• Other parents to connect and yarn with. 
• Transport may be possible for families living in some parts of the City of Swan and Shire of Mundaring. To discuss transport please contact: 9290 6830 or mshub@mundaring.wa.gov.au 

Please note, this event is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families.
