Event description

September ushers in the autumn equinox, a moment when day and night are perfectly balanced, marking the official start of fall. As the vibrant colors of summer transition into a rich tapestry of reds, oranges, and yellows, so too does life move through its seasons. This is a time for connection and reflection on our own mortality.

Mabon, also known as the Autumn Equinox, is a highly anticipated seasonal change that signifies the arrival of fall—a favorite season for many witches.

Mabon is the second harvest celebration of the year, coinciding with the Autumn Equinox. This season celebrates life and death, often referred to as the season of the witch. Mabon festivities honor and give thanks for Mother Earth's abundance, both materially and spiritually. It is a time to reflect on the Wheel of the Year, acknowledging achievements and letting go of what no longer serves us from the past twelve months.

Known as the Pagan Thanksgiving, Mabon celebrates the Autumn Equinox, a time of perfect balance between day and night, symbolizing harmony and equality. This season is marked by profound gratitude as we give thanks for the plentiful yield from our fields, signifying the peak of the harvest. Our hearts brim with appreciation and reverence for Mother Earth, Father Sun, and the countless gifts they bestow upon us.

Join us for a festive potluck brunch and activities to celebrate this season of gratitude and reflection.

Drop in Circles

Sit & Stitch
Join us at the pavilion for a delightful afternoon of relaxation, engaging conversations, and the joy of stitching. Whether you find solace in knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, embroidery, sewing, tatting, or any other thread-based craft, we invite you to bring your project to our Sit & Stitch Circle. This gathering is for magickally-minded women looking to spend time from 1 to 4 p.m. immersed in embroidery, needlepoint, knitting, or any other fiber or textile art that is portable and easy to manage. This is a wonderful chance to tap into the community for resources, advice, and new friendships, set in a casual, supportive environment. Please note, this is not a structured workshop; there will be no formal instruction or supply provision. Instead, it’s a dedicated time for you to work on personal projects and connect with other craft-loving women in a serene setting. Simply bring your beach chair and your project, and feel free to join us for a brief period or the entire afternoon.
