Yorta Yorta man William Cooper forms the Australian Aborigines League in 1933 to campaign for equality. Successive campaigns help win constitutional rights in 1967.
Bookings essential for this FREE event. Please join us for an evening of film, informal discussion and pop corn. Snacks and drinks will be available for a donation at the event. Please arrive at 7pm for a 7:30pm film start.
We hope to build connections in our community around reconciliation and promote deeper understanding, respect and justice for and with First Nations Peoples in the Macedon Ranges Shire. We thank the film company - Blackfella Films, for making this film available for screening at this event.
