Sadly due to the new COVID-19 restrictions and our gala having over 100 attendees we have no option but to cancel this event.
Our new refuge is anticipated to be finialised by the time restrictions are lifted. In light of this postponing the event is not viable. This is devastating for our service, as this was our major fundraiser to provide much need funds to purchase furniture for the new units.Attendees will receive an email in the coming days with the following options:
1) Donate ticket price to assist in furnishing our new refuge. This will be a beautiful and empowering place for women and children who are escaping domestic violence. Your donation will go towards providing beds, lounges and homewares for every women and child who calls Macleod home.
2) Request a full refund (note card transaction fees can not be refunded as this a 3rd party, booking fees will be refunded). We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your ongoing support to Macleod Refuge.- The Macleod Team
