This workshop has been created to take you to Macquarie Pass National Park where you will be mesmerised by the beauty of the waterfalls in this area.

This is a walking tour. The total bushwalk is approximately 7-8kms. The majority of this walk is on formed roads and firetrails. However once reaching the waterfalls there will be steep inclines and rock hopping.

What you will learn: Learn how to create silky smooth waterfall images and freeze moving water in your images. You will learn about shutter speed, aperture and some of the equipment and techniques used to capture waterfall images you will be proud of and get you out of auto mode and into manual mode where you have full control.

You will learn about:

-long exposures

- manual mode

- composition

- filters

What you need bring (if you have it):

Tripod – for most waterfall images this is essential

Circular polarising Filter

Neutral Density Filters

Lens cleaning cloth or micro fibre cloth

Wide angle Lens and long zoom lens

Fully charged batteries

Memory cards

Drinking water and snacks

Change of socks and shoes (you may get wet)

Swimmers if you like (there may be time for a dip!)

You will also need a medium level of fitness.

Attendees will be picked up and dropped back from Eagle Hawk on the Federal Hwy.
