Macquarie University IDAHOBIT Colour Run on Wallumattagal Campus

Student Life’s upcoming IDAHOBIT Colour Run is set to bring the Macquarie community together in a vibrant celebration of diversity, inclusion, and pride. Held in recognition of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), this colourful event highlights the importance of creating safe, empowering, and supportive spaces for LGBTQIA+ students on campus.

Participants will gather for a lively warm-up before setting off across the course. There will be 3 checkpoints across the route with some engaging activities and exciting colour sprays. Whether you’re a student or staff and choose to run, walk, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, you’ll be part of a welcoming and inclusive experience filled with vibrant energy and community spirit, and stand a chance to win a gift card worth up to $200 in the participation raffle!

White T-shirts with headbands and sunnies will be provided to the first 100 registered participants on the day. Make sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting colourful!

NOTE: This event involves coloured powder that will be sprayed on participants as vibrant, fun and colourful engagement.
