Macrame is a crafting technique that involves knotting cord into decorative patterns to create a range of items: wall hangings, plant hangers and jewellery. In this workshop you will learn and practice macrame knots and create beautiful and unique macrame crafts.
Week 1: Learn how to tie basic macrame knots and make a pot holder (and how to make tshirt yarn)
Week 2: Make a key chain decoration/earrings (miniature macrame) (and learn where to source upcycled materials to macrame with)
Weeks 3 -5 Make wall hangings and develop your knot-tying knowledge.
Macrame is a popular way to create beautiful items for your home, while enjoying the mindfulness of a creative activity.
By the end of this course you will have gained enough knowledge to create your own macrame designs.
Learn the art of macrame in a supportive and relaxed learning environment.
