Macrame for Beginners: Dia de Muertos Skull hanging with Maria
Event description
Join us for a bit of Halloween or Dia de los Muertos spirit and learn how to make this macrame skull hanger! With lots of colours to choose from it can go from spooky in red or black to cute in pink or purples. This is a simple pattern that gives you the basic knowledge to tackle many other macrame projects.
Macrame is a craft using knots and weaves to make beautiful homewares, clothing and more. Its origins are a bit unsure, some dating it back to the 13th century in Arabia using knot patterns to decorate textiles and others tracing it back to Babylonian times.
