Macrame Planter Hangers with Madeline Young

When: Tuesday November 12th 6pm - 8pm

Price: $90 per person (plus booking fee)

What you’ll get: natural cotton cord, a plant pot for the hanger, printed instructions to take home and some light refreshments.

What you need to bring: Nothing but a can-do attitude and an open mind. We’ll provide all the materials.

About the Workshop: Join Gallery Director and fibre art enthusiast Madeline Young for a fun and stress-free evening of craft. This class is aimed at beginners and is designed to be a relaxing introduction to the art of macrame. We’ll be making a simple plant hanger using a variety of versatile macrame knots. You’ll be given specific instructions and a step-by-step guide for ease of making. This class is aimed at beginners and is suitable for children over the age of 10. Anyone under the age of 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Due to the nature of these workshops we cannot refund your ticket if you cancel within 7 days of the event. The Corner Store Gallery reserves the right to cancel this workshop due to unforeseen circumstances or if minimum tickets sales are not met. In the event of cancellation by workshop provider your payment will be fully refunded.

About Madeline

This workshop is taught by Madeline Young, The Corner Store Gallery director and practicing artist. Madeline has a degree in Fine Arts and over 15 years experience of teaching art and craft workshops and classes to adults and children. Find out more about Madeline here.
