Macramé, or the art of knotting, is having a swift revival since the 70s.

It’s easy, affordable, you don’t need any tools and can spice up any room with a wall art or planter.

In this class we’ll learn some basic knots while doing a trendy wall art or hanger to spruce up any room.

We’ll be learning:

How to design your macrame wall hanger before starting
What materials work best
Basic knots such as:
- half square knot,
- square knot,
- hitch/ half hitch,
- Reverse larks head.

Cotton rope or tshirt yarn (made out of tshirts) or chunky wool
A pair of scissors
A nice stick from your backyard (alternatively a chopstick or a thin piece of wood)
