I'm (Cynthia) genuinely thrilled to offer you and a small group of just 4 people this unique opportunity to delve into the intricate realm of Macro Photography. This immersive experience promises to not only cultivate your adeptness in technical nuances and practical applications but, moreover, you will acquire a skill to identify subjects within seemingly intricate and expansive environments!

During the 3.5hr workshop, we will cover the following topics:

Discussion of the capabilities of each lens and camera body and what to expect
How important settings are to a macro photographer and adapting to our environment
Focus, focus, focus - how to achieve those crystal clear shots
Get hands on with other specialised macro equipment to attain unique results
How to find those needle in a haystack subjects
Post production capabilities.

TIME: 2pm - 5:30pm - We will have a break with Afternoon Tea.
INCLUDED: Afternoon tea, coffee and snacks.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

Camera with fully charged batteries.
Lens - specified macro or ‘micro’ lens to achieve that perfect sharp look and smaller magnification.
Hydration - own water bottle
Comfortable walking shoes
Optional - Notepad

Photography Experience Required:
Before committing to our Macro Photography Workshop, please note that a basic understanding of how your camera functions in manual mode is essential. We'll be delving into advanced techniques and creative aspects of photography, assuming you are familiar with the fundamentals of ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and manual settings. This prerequisite ensures that you get the most out of the workshop and can fully participate in our hands-on activities.
