Madama Butterfly is one of opera’s most enduring tales of unrequited love. Experience it in “pocket” form at the Independent Theatre under direction of one of the world’s most prolific Cio Cio San’s, Cheryl Barker AO. Be immersed in Puccini’s poignant score as the tragic tale of a young girl falling in love with an American Navel officer is brought to life by an ensemble of Pacific Opera singers.
