Event description
As part of Ethical Clothing Australia Week 2025, we’re hosting Made by Queensland – an exciting panel discussion event highlighting the strengths, capabilities, and ongoing developments within Queensland’s textile, clothing, and footwear (TCF) industry.
Hosted by Ethical Clothing Australia’s National Manager, Rachel Reilly, our panel will feature representatives from Ethical Clothing Australia accredited businesses and the TCF Union. A guided discussion, we’ll discuss opportunities and challenges facing Queensland’s TCF sector, including the growing momentum around the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games, the role of local manufacturing, and the importance of education and workforce development.
If you’re a business owner, worker or simply interested in ethical manufacturing – join us as we discuss the future of our local textile, clothing, and footwear industry, providing opportunities to collaborate and foster new connections.
The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session and a chance to network with industry professionals.
