MADE Dance Community Connect

MADE will deliver dance workshops specifically tailored for older adults to enhance their skills and enjoy the art of dance.

The team from Mature Artist Dance Experience offers dance workshops that are fun, creative and enlivening - and we are bringing them to Burnie!

Designed especially for older adults from the general community, these workshops are a precursor to MADE’s weekend of performances and artist forums at the Burnie Arts Centre on September 29 and 30. MADE is delighted to offer workshops in Burnie at Reflexions Dance Studio on two Sundays:

September 3

10:30-12pm - Contemporary Dance & Improvisation with Felicity Bott and Shirley Gibson

October 1

10-11am Ballet Barre with Lucinda Sharp

11-12pm Contemporary Dance & Improvisation with Felicity Bott and Shirley Gibson

On October 1, a ticket purchase will entitle you to one or both of these 1-hour sessions. Come and join us. We'd love to welcome you to find out a bit more about what 'mature dance' is and how MADE approaches it!

MADE’s nationally certified teachers have years of experience in the dance studio and on the stage. They are not only exceptional teachers, but are kind, encouraging and supportive of each dancer to learn more about movement while having fun.
