    TICKET FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to attend the festival?

Made in the West is an 18+ event. Many of the films will contain mature content. This means that all of the usual things (including strong language, sex scenes, nudity, adult themes, drug use and violence) will likely make an appearance at some point throughout the night. That means you can't bring your kids.

Note: If you are the parent or guardian of an under-age cast or crew member of one of our finalist films, feel free to contact us to discuss your options.

What are my transport / parking options for getting to and from the cinema?

Event Cinemas is located on the top floor of Westfield Shopping Centre, located on Elizabeth Drive in Liverpool.
PARKING: Enter the Westfield carpark via George Street and go to the roof. Parking at Westfield is free for 3 hours if you arrive before 6pm, or entirely free if you arrive after 6pm.
TRAINS & BUSES operate until late. Click 'How to get there' on the map above for travel routes.
PEDESTRIAN access to the cinema is via the front street entrance of Westfield Shopping Centre, then take the first escalator to the roof.
ACCESSIBILITY: The cinema is wheelchair accessible.

Do I need to bring my ticket to the in-cinema event?

Yes. Please bring your ticket/s - digital is preferred (save the trees!) - and show the QR code to our ushers when you arrive so that we can scan your ticket.

Can I update my ticket registration information?

Yes, you can update or edit the information on your order — like name, email address, or answers to the questions we ask in the checkout process. Locate the ticket order confirmation email that Humanitix automatically sends to your inbox and within it, there is an orange button to Update your order. Click this to be taken to your ticket order on Humanitix. From here, you can update, edit or change the details of your order BUT remember to scroll to the bottom of the page to click a button to SAVE your order. If you can't find that email, or have any trouble, please reach out to us for help.

    Is my ticket transferable?

Yes. You can follow the instructions given above to edit the information including the name and email address for each ticketholder / festival attendee. If you can't do it yourself, you can contact us and we will update your ticket for you.

What if I don't know who is coming yet but I want to book tickets?

We encourage attendees to book their own tickets so that ticket holder details are complete. If you are registering on behalf of someone else, please check they are available and eager to attend; we don't want any allocated seats left unused.

If you don't know someone's details, please enter 'TBC' as the first name/last name and then edit your order at a later date with your correct guest names (so they can get in the door!). We will send a reminder email to all 'TBC' ticketholders to remind you to update attendee details before 29 November (or cancel the order so others can attend instead).

Can I watch the festival online?

Yes! We've got an extra special line-up planned for our annual MEGA Movie Marathon - available to view between 10 December 2024 and 31 January 2024.

Reserve a ticket and we'll send you a direct link on 10 December to access the show online via our website. Your purchase allows you 7 days video hire - like a digital video store! The 2024 MEGA Movie Marathon features 3 hours of films including the Official Selection films, plus 10 amazing local films we just. can't. resist. showing you, as well as interviews with filmmakers and VIP guests, and all the highlights from the red carpet event in cinema. The best part? You can watch the whole show from your couch! Invite your friends, settle in with some popcorn and see the year's best films online.

How can I contact the organiser if I have further questions?
