Welcome to Kandos, NSW, a post industrial town where art isn’t just seen—it’s lived and felt. The town has become a magnet for artists and makers, and their creativity secretly hums in its streets and forgotten spaces, waiting to be uncovered.
Your tour begins at Kandos Kitchen where you'll receive a classic country welcome with CWA-style cream scones, tea and coffee. Then, follow local artist Gabrielle Bates through Kandos to private studios and art spaces brimming with weird and wonderful art, stories and ideas. Explore busy workspaces, see ideas take shape, and meet the artists who turn their creativity into experience. This is more than a tour—it’s a portal into a world where creativity is deeply connected to the place in which it happens. At the end of the tour, you will receive a free gift bag full of creative treats, hand crafted surprises and local information.
