She will delve into the Bogong High Plains Sound Map, featuring a live demonstration of the equipment she uses to capture these unique alpine sounds. Discover how Madelynne uses sound to deepen our connection to this extraordinary landscape.

Based in Bogong Village, North East Victoria, Madelynne is a sound artist, videographer, researcher, and curator. Her work explores climate’s effects on natural and built environments and the impact of human activity on the natural world. Through immersive installations, field recordings, moving images, and composition, she investigates how sonic and visual elements shape our understanding of landscapes and ecological change.
