Simon Wellington (Performing Lines)
Simon Wellington is Executive Producer and CEO of Performing Lines, an organisation dedicated to producing and touring the work of Australian independent performance artists and delivering a range of sector development programs for artists, producers and arts workers. He has nearly 30 years’ experience as an arts manager, programmer and producer, working in Australia, Indonesia and the United Kingdom. Since commencing his career in Hobart with Salamanca Theatre Company, roles have included general manager for Griffin Theatre Company and Urban Theatre Projects, and programming and producing for festivals and events, including Ten Days on the Island and the Australian Theatre Forum. From 2015, Simon was based in Cambridge, UK, working for Arts Council England with theatres, arts centres, festivals, galleries and museums across the East of England. Natano Fa'anana (Casus Creations / Moogahlin Performing Arts)
Casus Creations Co-Founder, Creative Director Moogahlin Performing Arts Executive Producer Seumanufagai Fiu Seuamuli Natano Fa'anana is a Samoan artist whose subversive performance art draws from his Samoan ancestry. Natano is the co-founder of Casus Creations and the Executive Producer at Moogahlin Performing Arts, a leading First Peoples arts organization in New South Wales. Through his work he has earned recognition through the Sidney Myer Fellowship (2019) and Churchill Fellowship (2020). Natano is a circus artist and co-founded Casus Creations, a multidisciplinary performance company known for works like Knee Deep, Driftwood, and Chasing Smoke. His journey began with Brisbane’s Polytoxic Theatre Company, where he gained the confidence to integrate culture into his work. He also co-founded Briefs Factory International, where he explored cabaret as a medium for cultural expression. In 2018, Natano won two Matilda Awards for We Live Here, in the categories of Best Director (co-directed with Bridget Boyle) and Best Circus/Physical Theatre Production. His work has contributed to cultural representation in contemporary circus and physical theatre, traditionally non-indigenous spaces. Photo Credit: Stephen Wilson Barker
Aimee Gray (Kerbside Collective)
Aimee is an independent artist/producer and has her own company 'Kerbside Collective' alongside her partner in crime Mark Gray. Kerbside is film, live music, theatre and immersive art, but mostly it the antithesis of AI art – we make work that relies on human engagement and ignites our curiosity and playful selves - we invite audiences to laugh and be a part of the experience, fostering community through face-to-face experiences that invite us to reconnect with each other and the natural world. Aimee has also produced for various arts companies across Australia with a focus on local artists and community engaged projects. These have included Red Chair, Horizon Festival, Bleach Festival, Everybody Now, Woodford Folk Festival, Festival of Small Halls, HOTA, Corrugated Iron Youth Arts and Darwin Fringe.
