Well known to the North East, Maggie Rigby from iconic Melbourne folk band The Mae's, launches her new solo project + debut EP ‘Best Love in the Universe’ at the Old Stone Hall in November, proudly part of her headline Australian Tour.
Come and join us for an intimate evening of live music, Maggie will charm us in the beautiful space of the Old Stone Hall with her stunning spine-tingling vocals, her intricate songwriting playing on guitar, banjo, marimba and percussion.
‘Best Love in the Universe’ is her debut EP. A solo project born from the pandemic and after years of perpetual, northern and southern hemisphere summers touring world’s most prestigious roots music festivals to all of a sudden two lonely winters in lockdowns, a career change, caring for a grandparent and a breakup and discovering what it really means to be an adult when you are sitting still.
