Magill Campus draft Structure Plan Community Engagement Drop In Session
Description
Magill Campus
The Magill Campus offers an opportunity to plan for future development that align with community needs and aspirations.
Renewal SA is undertaking master planning for the entire 14.62 hectare Magill Campus site to guide its future development. We are committed to ensuring that key stakeholders and the local community are engaged throughout the process.
Initial engagement was undertaken from November 2024 to February 2025 and we are now commencing the next stage.
The draft Structure Plan
Community feedback from the initial engagement helped develop the Magill Campus draft Structure Plan.
We are now seeking feedback on this plan's key elements.
The work carried out to date outlines the long-term vision for a green and inclusive neighbourhood that seeks to protect community assets, while responding to growing aged care demand.
It prioritises the protection of the Third Creek corridor and ensures the retention and enhancement of key community assets, including sports facilities and Murray House.
More than 60 per cent of the main western campus will be retained for open space, sport and community use.
