This afternoon will be a profound journey within as we receive the healing blessings of some ancient practices of the Hidden Yogis.
For centuries these practices where only passed on from master to student and practiced in remote caves and charnel grounds.
The last few decades the time has arrived for these practices to spread over the world, as predicted by the Great Tibetan MahaSiddha Padmasambhava in the 9th century.
We are so excited and blessed, to have this rare opportunity. As an authentic female lineage holder, Yogini Khandro Rinpoche will offer these deeply healing purification rituals as a blessing to us, as she received them through ancient esoteric lineages from Great Yogic Masters.
All will be woven in a natural flow with gentle breath, meditation with Rinpoche, and enchanting music and sound immersion integration with our outstanding musicians and facilitators.
ALL PROCEEDS OF THIS EVENT ARE GOING TO A NEW ROOF FOR THE ONLY BHUTANESE MONESTRY IN NORTH INDIA; THE DRUKPA GOMPA IN MANALI.
The roof collapsed under untimely snowfall. The monastery has a central place in the community and it's a gathering place particularly for woman and children. There they prepare and share food, receive education and to preserve their cultural and spiritual traditions.
Khandro Rinpoche has tremendously improved education for women and children in her community. Breaking through ancient cultural barriers and dogmas, inc. opening up certain esoteric practices to nuns and yoginis that were generally only practiced by men for centuries.
She is a true guidng light in transforming these traditional communities into more inclusive, open and equal spaces, in line with the changing times.
