Event description

The Royal Commission in to Victoria's Mental Health System highlighted  Minkoff and Cline's Comprehensive Continuous Integrated System of Care Model as it demonstrates that the foundation of a recovery partnership is an empathic, hopeful and integrated strengths-based relationship.

The forum aims to bring together service providers to explore and enhance the role of hope and compassion in our service delivery.

We are pleased to announce the following presenters:

Dr Debbie Ling, PhD (Lecturer/Social Worker, Monash University) will be presenting her work on the relationship between the perception of common humanity and compassion in healthcare workers.

Guler Altunbas (artist/survivor/activist) will be showcasing her work on the Human First exhibition and guiding a workshop on the concept of hope.

There will be opportunity to connect and chat with each other over morning tea and lunch (provided).

This forum is scheduled to be an in-person event subject to current Covid-19 restrictions at the time of the event.
