Turn reclaimed wood into a beautiful and practical breadboard!
In this beginner friendly Power Tools 101 workshop, you’ll learn the basics of woodworking while crafting a unique breadboard from upcycled native timber.
Come away with new skills, creative confidence, and something useful for your kitchen, or a great home made gift to give.
While creating, you will also learn how to safely use tools, and our experienced tutor will provide tips to help you get started on your own creative projects.
Tools that will be covered in this workshop are: jigsaw, a power drill, and sander.
There will be a health and safety briefing at the start of the workshop to inform participants of safety precautions before we begin using tools.
All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!). Some work may be outdoors, so please wear clothes according to weather conditions.

* Please note that you need to arrive at this workshop at the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.
