Come and Try: Make a Ceramic Botanical Platter

Join artist and ceramicist Lesa Farrant for this unique nature-themed platter-making workshop. Lesa will guide participants through the fundamental techniques of hand-building with clay, encouraging new potters to use seeds, leaves and flowers to make delicate impressions on the surfaces of the drying clay. This workshop is sure to be a perfect, relaxing day spent pottering in the ceramics studio, working with earthen materials and reconnecting with the Australian environment through art making.
