Make a frame shelf: Power Tools 101, The ReCreators Green Space, Friday 28 November 6:30pm - 9:00pm

Learn the basics of power tools while making your own wooden frame shelf.

In this relaxed evening workshop, you’ll get familiar with tools like drills and sanders as you build a modern shelf that’s perfect for displaying plants, photos or treasures at home. Our experienced tutor will guide you step-by-step, helping you gain confidence while creating something both useful and stylish. or it would make an amazing christmas gift!

We’ll start with a health and safety briefing before using any tools. You’ll learn how to safely operate a power drill and sander, and we’ll show you how to extend your skills beyond the basics.

Please wear covered shoes and fitted clothing (nothing loose). Some work may take place outdoors, so dress for the weather.

Children cannot attend due to health and safety requirements

Teens are welcome to join with a participating guardian

Bring your lunch, snacks and a water bottle

Please arrive on time - you’ll need to attend the safety briefing to take part in the workshop
