Get ready for a creative adventure at the Mudgeeraba Market Shopping Centre these Easter school holidays. Join us for FREE workshops with acclaimed SWELL artist, Richard Scott.

Design your own Mudgeeraba Postcard! Draw and colour your favourite Mudgeeraba street, building, or landmark, and share what makes Mudgeeraba special to you. Create a homemade postcard to send to loved ones.

Suitable for children ages 5+ *Parents must be present to supervise children during workshop

More about artist Richard Scott here: Inspired by Gold Coast signage and memorabilia, Richard Scott is a local emerging artist and art tutor. Specialising in hand-drawn illustration and printmaking, Richard is a resident artist and curator at Mint Art House in Burleigh. He held his debut show (Idle Hands) there in 2023 and curated the group exhibition Papercuts in March of this year. Richard is a contributing sculptor for the SWELL Sculpture Festival in Currumbin and has painted murals for the Surface Street Art Festival in Miami. A tutor at the Gold Coast Art School in Southport, Richard has a masters of secondary teaching and has facilitated children's art workshops for SWELL, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Kids Take Over at HOTA (Bundall), SkateFest (Pacific Fair), and Mint Art House. https://www.instagram.com/richard.scott.draws/
