Make a Mug and Side Plate

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Make your own handmade mug and side plate!

Enjoy an afternoon learning clever clay slab construction techniques to form a mug and side plate using white stoneware clay. Once you're absolutely chuffed with your handbuilding skills you can colour and decorate your fabulous forms with a selection of coloured underglazes (paint especially designed for clay).

Your mug and plate will be left to dry carefully and then glazed in a food safe glaze so it will be just perfect for your next cuppa and cake moment!

Drying for firing

All materials, glazing and firing are included in the workshop and your mug and plate can be collected after two to three weeks.

*Nuttree Studio allows for appropriate social distancing and hand sanitiser is available. Please do not attend if you are unwell or have been in contact with someone that has.
