Spring is just around the corner! 🌱
Get your garden ready with our Make a Seed Tray from Upcycled Timber workshop.
In this session, you'll learn how to build your own beautiful wooden seed tray using reclaimed pallet wood, perfect for sowing seeds and growing healthy spring plants. Not only will you take home your handcrafted seed tray, but you'll also get to plant some spring seedlings to kickstart your garden right away!
You'll learn how to:
Deconstruct a pallet safely
Identify heat-treated pallets that are safe for growing food
Use tools like a jigsaw, drill, and sander confidently
Access tools the circular, sustainable way
Build a wooden seed tray from upcycled timber
Plant up Spring seeds to grow into seedlings.
Please wear covered shoes and tightish clothes. You may be working outside so dress for the weather conditions and bring a drink bottle/ snacks. Please note that you need to arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.
* Please note children are not able to attend with parents due to health and safety requirements, suitable for Adults, and teens 13+ with an attending adult.
