All materials and tools will be provided and no previous book making experience is necessary.

- Can you tell me more about the journal size and design?
The journal is 4 inches wide, 5 1/4 inches tall, and has 112 blank pages. The binding does not use any glue. Instead, the journal is bound using a Crossed Structure binding that was developed by Carmencho Arregui, who was inspired by medieval era bindings.
- Can you tell me more about the journal materials?
The cover is a beautiful handmade paper from Montreal, Canada that comes in a variety of colors. The pages of the journal are white, acid-free paper, and the binding thread is a white linen.
- What do I need to bring?
All materials and tools will be provided!
We will use the following tools during the workshop:
cutting mat
cutting knife
bone folder
#18 needle
pencil
pin vise or awl
metal ruler
triangle
scissors
beeswax (optional)
punching cradle (optional)
You are welcome to bring any of your own bookmaking tools if you prefer to use your own.
