Description

Did you know that any water holding container can be used to create a wicking bed that will allow vegetables to draw water as they require it.

In this workshop learn how to set up a simple wicking bed in a plastic storage tub.  This is perfect to grow lettuce or herbs and keep close to your back door to pick as you need. 

This simple technique can then be adapted to a container that you have, small or large. 

This event is being run in partnership between Enviro House and the City of Bayswater.
