Event description

Proudly brought to you by Waitemata Local Board and Studio One Toi Tu as part of Matariki.

In this Matariki workshop, kids will learn how to use a drill in detail and then design and assemble their own wooden whetu designs from off-cuts and reclaimed materials.

Using sandpaper and paints to decorate, this will be something made proudly that will stand the test of time.

Each participant will leave with a unique design.

Note: Have kids wear old clothing that may get paint on it and closed-toe shoes.

When: Wednesday 12 July 10am - 2pm
Where: Grey Lynn Library Hall, 474 Great North Road, Grey Lynn
