Make a Wooden Whetu - Kids Woodworking, Grey Lynn Library Hall with Studio One Toi Tu, Wednesday, 12 July, 10am -2pm

Proudly brought to you by Waitemata Local Board and Studio One Toi Tu as part of Matariki.
In this Matariki workshop, kids will learn how to use a drill in detail and then design and assemble their own wooden whetu designs from off-cuts and reclaimed materials.
Using sandpaper and paints to decorate, this will be something made proudly that will stand the test of time.
Each participant will leave with a unique design.
Note: Have kids wear old clothing that may get paint on it and closed-toe shoes.
