With the Federal Election around the corner, there’s a lot at stake. Right now, cost of living pressures and the housing crisis are dominating the conversation—and rightly so. But we also know the climate crisis will make everything worse if we don’t act. Rising food and energy bills, skyrocketing insurance premiums, more extreme weather with heatwaves, bushfires and floods —climate impacts are already here, and as they increase they will touch every aspect of our lives.

That’s why we need real climate leadership. Instead, we’re seeing distractions like nuclear energy—an expensive, slow, and risky delay tactic when we need to fast trek renewables (We're already at 40%! We just need to keep going!) and a just transition for all.
