Make it Lab - Yagan Square

MAKE IT LAB these school holidays at Yagan Square!

“Make it Lab” school holiday workshop program at Yagan Square will run in week two, from Monday 3 to Sunday 9 October 2022.  

With three workshops each day (catering to various age groups), kids can enjoy a whole host of workshops and make amazing take home creations ranging from painted shoes, boomerangs and Lego robotics, candles, bath bombs and soaps, paper sculptures, wall hangings and mosaic lamps, terrariums, preserved flower arrangements and painted self-portraits! All that you need to bring along is your imagination.

The workshops will be hosted inside a furnished marquee within Yagan Square, with 16 - 32 participants per session.

Adults also don’t miss out; with four evening classes for parents, local residents or city workers to get creative!

IMPORTANT NOTES: 

• We suggest wearing clothing that is ok to get messy! 
  
• Ages are suggested only and it is the parent or guardian's choice to select age and skill appropriate workshops.
• Ticket cost covers one child only. Adults may supervise/oversee but will not be given a seat at the table. To join your child and take part in the activity an additional ticket must be purchased. A waiting area for parents will be supplied from where you can keep an eye on your child throughout the activity.
• Children remain parent or guardian's responsibility. Workshop facilitators are not responsible to keep children within the marquee and ensure their safety from outside elements.
• Adult classes are not BYO. Please enjoy a drink before the event at one of the local venues. Non alcoholic beverages are ok.
• Organisers and Venue reserve the right to use photography and videography taken of the activities for promotional purposes.
