Event description

Join our Young Adult (YA) Librarian Lizzie Nott, as she chats to local author Lucy Blakiston about her new book Make It Make Sense (Instant Bestseller!)

Lucy is co-founder of Sh*t You Should Care About, an online media platform making international news palatable for youth audiences (along with a healthy dollop of Harry Styles). This successful platform was formed out of an idea from the back of a lecture hall and now has millions of followers worldwide!

The book, written by Lucy and friend Bel, MAKE IT MAKE SENSE is a collage of cultural analysis, anecdotes, personal essays, poems and lists, interplayed like a conversation between friends. Lucy's portion was mostly written while sitting in our library - so it's fitting we chat to her all about it.
