Make Kenshi Life Changing Candles with the refugees from Myanmar

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Kenshi Life Changing Candles is an inspiring story of a 14-year-old boy wanting to change the world. Now, the refugees from Myanmar living in Australia earn much-needed income by producing thousands of candles every month.

Bring along employees, friends and family to experience the process of making Kenshi Life Changing Candles in Sunshine North. This is an incredible opportunity to work side by side with some of these people from Myanmar.

You will be pouring, wicking, and labelling jars. You will hear first hand the plight of how they escaped from Myanmar, enjoy some authentic cuisine and engage fully within their community. They are committed to helping their friends and family who remain back in their villages living in terrible conditions. 80% of which are living below the poverty line.

We have enormous admiration for the Chin people who are so welcoming and continue to make the most of every opportunity.
