Make-N-Take Flower Bouquet Fundraiser for Dawn VanderNeut!
Event description
Everyone, please join us at the Blue Canyon in Twinsburg on Sunday, 5/19, from 1 to 4 PM to create a beautiful flower arrangement that will support Dawn and her recovery as she progresses through three rounds of chemo treatment. The surgeons removed the tumor during surgery, but it ruptured, which can be common with this specific cancer. This information was a surprise to Dawn and her family, but it has not impacted her attitude, spirit and drive to all the things she is meant to do!
The proceeds from this event will help Dawn maintain her financial responsibilities. Dawn has TWO jobs she will be stepping away from during treatment: teaching her incredible students and serving at beautiful Blue Canyon. Please show your support and have the most FUN with her and FLOWERS! Please bring your family, and your friends and spread the word!
Event Details: A certified floral instructor from Pretty Petals Flower Carts will provide step-by-step instructions for creating an arrangement using the principles and elements of design. Other tips include the proper process and handling of flowers and how to extend the vase life.
We are grateful for Blue Canyon's donation of light appetizers and will offer an open bar for buying alcohol or NA drinks.
