Are you tired of being online...want to learn photography outdoors with a group of actual people??
Join us for a fun and creative 2-day workshop to improve your phone photography and editing skills. You will build technical and creative expertise in a friendly outdoor environment. At the end of this workshop, you will have your own photographic artwork ready to print and frame.
* $50 discount for Randwick Council residents — Select resident's ticket when booking.
About the workshop - no experience necessary
The workshop is split into two sessions:
- Saturday from 10.00 am — 1.00 pmÂ
- Sunday from 10.00 am — 12.00 pm
- Randwick Sustainability Hub, 27 Munda Street Randwick — a beautifully expansive and peaceful space with a variety of engaging areas for us to use, including ambient gardens, native plants, colorful flora, and wetlands to explore.
- Workshops are designed for everyone wanting to build skills in photography and discover their creative pathway.Â
- A hands-on approach to learning photography techniques. You will be supported with resources from the moment you book in, through to completion of the workshop.

Pre-session
- When you book the workshop you will receive an information package in preparation for the workshop.Â
Saturday session
- Develop your power of observation
- Master your phone camera using simple-to-remember techniques
- Develop your own artistic style
- Take a selection of photographs for Sunday's editing session
- Select (curate) your strongest three photographsÂ
Sunday sessionÂ
- Deep dive into photo editing to enhance your three photographs. (using a FREE app)
- Overview of printing and framingÂ
- Guide to support your continued practice, including links, information, and inspiration
What do I need to bring?
- Your smartphoneÂ
- Your smartphone's chargerÂ
- Battery power bank (don't worry if you don't have one, we have a few that you can use as well)
- Water bottle
- An open mind
- Appropriate outdoor clothing (hat, long sleeves, rainwear)
