Come along to hear from Carlos Garcia-Galan, Deputy Manager for NASA’s Gateway Program.

Gateway is a cornerstone of the Artemis campaign that will enable sustainable lunar exploration to perform groundbreaking science, develop and test technologies on the Moon that will be needed for a human mission to Mars, and inspire the world in the process.

The Artemis programme will set the basis for the first trip of humans to Mars in the not so distant future, establishing the first human base on another planet, more than forty million miles away from Earth. NASA’s approach to achieving its missions involves mindsets that overcome uncertainty and foster innovation, Carlos will speak about his journey to and within NASA, explaining what drives and motivates him and the mindset of making the impossible possible.
